Advantages Over Peristaltic Pumps:
These diaphragm pumps offer several advantages compared to peristaltic pumps such as:
- Performance not affected when operated at temperature extremes. Squeeze tubes on peristaltic pumps are affected by temperature extremes.
- Maintenance on diaphragm pumps required after two years of service. Squeeze tubes on peristaltic pumps need to be maintained every few months.
- Injection accuracy ensured over long periods of operation time. Squeeze tubes lose accuracy within 1 to 2 weeks after installation.
- Ability to inject into pressure over a long period of time without the unit failing. Peristaltic pumps require more maintenance to keep them running.
- High stroking speed ensures more uniform distribution of chemical at low flow rates.
